To access the HF signals available at the platform level, the application subscribes to a specific IE Databus topic that aggregates all signals configured for publication on the IE Databus through the Common Configurator.

Consider the following points for HF signal recording:

  • The “Publish on the databus” checkbox for the CYCLE data point must always be activated.

Without CYCLE, the application cannot record other signals.

  • All HF signals must have the same acquisition cycle value.

  • All signals with the “Publish on the databus” checkbox activated are available to the application, while those without a tick are not available.

Consider the following points for LF signal recording:

  • Select "Low frequency data" for the acquisition mode.

  • SYNC_CYCLE_HF address and at least one HF data point must be added and "Publish on the databus" checkbox must be ticked.

  • All LF signals must have the same acquisition cycle value.

  • All signals with the “Publish on the databus” checkbox activated are available to the application, while those without a tick are not available.

Note:

Changes made in the Common Configurator may change the settings of the connector. For these changes to take effect in SINUMERIK Data Recorder, the SINUMERIK Data Recorder application must be restarted.

The number of high frequency signals which can be subscribed is limited by the SINUMERIK Connector to 100 data points. Refer to the SINUMERIK Connector documentation for more details.
