The user may implement a product-specific LED handling for "DCP Show
Location" service of PROFINET. The PROFINET stack provides a sample
implementation to handle the LEDs on the supported boards and network
interfaces. This sample implementation may be adapted. In order to do
so, EPS_CFG_USE_EXTERNAL_LED has to be defined in the PROFINET stack
integration header file (see System data) and the
functions required by the integrated EDD have to be implemented.
Note
EDDS and EDDI components have different functions for LED handling.
