In some cases (like Service Stick usage) it is not possible to get output from DP port of an IOT2050 device. In these cases, TTL USB cable must be used to connect an IOT2050 device with a computer. In this topic "laptop" word will be preferred but laptop or desktop computer which has USB port(s) can be used for connection.

USB part of the cable must be connected to a USB port of a laptop as below:
The other end of the cable must be connected to an IOT2050 Edge device's x14 port. It is actually a UART component which is used for serial communication. The following image shows the connection of cable and x14 port:

After both sides are connected appropriately a software on laptop must be used to obtain the output. We recommend MobaXterm software. If you use PuTTY or some other programs, most probably the output will have some rendering issues and characters will not be shown as they are expected.
