This release brings two improvements regarding logs: (1) Event logging and (2) Splunk plugin.
(1) With security audit event logging, you can optionally activate the creation of a log file that e.g., logs user logins and changes performed on the device. These logs from the Industrial Edge Device can either be downloaded directly or forwarded to an own log-file server.
(2) The Splunk plugin supports data provision from the Industrial Edge Device to the Big Data analytics platform Splunk. Metrics like CPU and memory usage can be easily fed into Splunk for monitoring, data analysis and alert creation.
