The tuning of kernel threads has been extended.

• Apps can request tuning of the rcuc kernel thread on their isolated CPU(s). The new resource config option rcuc_sched can be passed as a mandatory or optional parameter.
• The environment variables used to communicate core isolation and real time tuning have been extended:
  • IEDGE_CPUSET_ISOLATED is expanded to list individual core as a comma-separated list
  • Additional environment variables IEDGE_CPUSET_KSOFTIRQD_SCHED, IEDGE_CPUSET_KTIMERS_SCHED, and IEDGE_CPUSET_RCUC_SCHED describe the tuning applied to the kernel threads
• The obsolete tuning of per-cpu ktimersoftd and cpuhp kernel threads has been removed.
