The OPC UA Connector connects your Industrial Edge Device to an OPC UA (OPC Server). To establish these connections, you have the option to configure them through either the Common Connector Configurator or Common Configurator. Once configured, you can transfer the selected data points to the Industrial Edge Runtime of the respective Industrial Edge Device (IED). The Industrial Edge Runtime then sends this data to the Databus. The collected data can be utilized in your Industrial Edge apps or other applications.
The OPC UA Connector facilitates seamless connectivity with any PLCs that adhere to the OPC UA (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture) standard. It establishes a communication channel to enable efficient acquisition of tag data.
