The following table lists the different UI elements in the "Configure" section page:

Symbol Description
Add Data Source Button Enables to add a new data source.
Delete Selected Button Enables to delete the data source and data points.
Deploy Button Enables to deploy the project. If you close the SLMP Connector, then all the unsaved configurations are lost. The "Deploy" button saves the configuration on the Industrial Edge Runtime of the SLMP Connector. Once you click the Deploy button, by default the project will start.
Data Source Table Displays the data source and data points and their information as follows:
  • "Name": Displays the name of the data point.
  • "Address": Displays the address of the data point in the controller or on the server.
  • "Access Mode": Displays the access permission.
  • "Comments": Displays the given comments.
  • "Acquisition Cycle": Displays the acquisition cycle with which the data is sent to the Databus.
  • "Acquisition Mode": Displays the acquisition mode with which the data is sent to the Databus.
  • "Data Type": Displays the data point type.
Managing tags and datasources Enables you to perform the following tasks:
  • Add Tag- user can add a tag to the selected datasource.
  • Edit Datasource- user can edit the existing datasource.
  • Delete Datasource- user can delete the selected datasource.
  • Import Tags- user can import the tags.

NOTICE

When you perform:

  • add, edit, or delete a datasource,
  • add, edit, import, or delete a tag,

    you must click "Deploy" button to save the changes on the industrial edge Runtime of the SLMP Connector.
