To add data points from a data source, follow these steps:

1. Open SLMP Connector.
   The SLMP Connector "Overview" page is displayed.
2. Click the "Tags" tab.
   The "Tags" tab details are displayed.
3. Click the plus icon on the data source, a pop-up menu appears.

4. Click "Add Tag".
   The "Add Tag" dialog box is displayed based on the selected data source as follows:
   
   

   

5. Complete the following fields:
   

   Field Name	Definition
   Name	Defines the name of the data point.
   Address	Defines the address of the data point in the controller or on the server.
   Acquisition Mode	Specifies the acquisition mode of the data. The available options are as follows: CyclicOnChange
   Comments	Defines the comments.
   Acquisition Cycle	Specifies the acquisition cycle with which the data is sent to the Databus. The available options are as follows: 100 milliseconds 250 milliseconds 500 milliseconds 1 second 2 second 5 second 10 second As a rule, the '1 second' acquisition cycle is used.
   Acquisition Mode	Specifies the acquisition mode of the data. The available options are as follows: CyclicOnChange
   Data Type	Specifies the data point type. For more information on the data types, referData Types section.

   *All the fields are mandatory.

   NOTICE

   Array is not supported.

6. Click "Save".
   The tags are added below the data source.
