Setting up a connection - Manual - Notifier - Industrial Edge - Industrial Edge App

To configure a connection to the Notifier for Industrial Edge app, follow these steps:

1. Click "Settings".
2. Tap on the "Connection" menu.
   
   
3. Select either "Edge Box" or "UCP":
   • To connect to the Notifier for Industrial Edge app, select the Edge Box.
     -- or --
   • To connect to the Notifier app on a Unified Comfort Panel, select UCP.
     
     

4. Enter your login data for the Notifier for Industrial Edge app.

   Name of a smartwatch

   Only the first three characters of the device name can be displayed on a smartwatch. Define easily recognizable and unique initials for the users, so that it is quickly recognizable who has accepted a notification. For example, you can specify three letters as initials in the first place and append the complete name to them, such as EvM_EvaMueller.

5. Tap on the login icon :
   

6. To log off from the Notifier for Industrial Edge app, tap the logoff icon .

   Logging off

   When logging off from Notifier for Industrial Edge app, all existing notifications on the smartwatch are deleted.

   Reinstallation of the Notifier for Industrial Edge app

   When the Notifier for Industrial Edge app is reinstalled, all smartwatches must be registered again using the Notifier ID.

   Reinstallation of the Notifier mobile app

   After reinstallation of the Notifier mobile app, a new device ID is assigned and the connection to the Notifier for Industrial Edge app must be reconfigured.
