Import notification rules - Manual - Notifier - Industrial Edge - Industrial Edge App

To import notification rules, proceed as follows:

1. Under "Settings", click "Manage notification rules".
2. In the asset structure, select the asset into which you want to import notification rules.
3. Click  "Import".

4. Select a JSON file that contains notification rules exported from Notifier.
   Drop a file with drag-and-drop

   Browse the file system.
   

   Info

   Only one file can be imported at a time in an import process.

6. Click "Next".

7. Assign corresponding new assets to the assets of the export.
   If assets with the same name already exist at the target, they are preselected.
8. Click "Next".
   The variables referenced in the imported configuration are displayed.
   Imported variables are automatically assigned to the appropriate variables of the asset if there is a variable with the same name and data type there.

9. Assign variables that are not automatically assigned manually.
   

   • Select an asset for which the corresponding variables are configured.
     Variables whose data type corresponds to that of the imported variable are highlighted.
   • Select the appropriate variable and click "Select".
   • Use the filter to display only unassigned or only assigned variables.
     

   Info

   The rules can only be imported once all variables have been assigned.

10. Click "Import rules".
    The notification rules are imported into the asset.
