The number of SHAVEs used for partial execution of tasks is relevant in terms of performance. However, there is no general rule of thumb for executing an application with or without SHAVEs due to the range of possible application scenarios. To gain a better understanding of performance criteria, the user can use standard MPython tools such as the ‘utime’ module.
