• You can only use one method of configuration, either Common Configurator or IEM. Configuring using the common configurator is the recommended way.
• Previous invalid characters such as /, #, and \ are not supported in the Common Configurator. You must avoid configuring them.
• Char arrays are supported as individual elements in the IIH configurator. IEM users can still use them as individual elements with the data type chararray.
• New version of S7 Connector is compatible to work only with updated version of Common Configurator (V1.8.0).
• S7+ browsing in not supported with an Open Controller PC2 (CPU1515SP PC2).
• S7 connector tag read function does not work with S7-1200 PLC for Firmware versions below 3.0
• If the Excel sheet created by the TAG converter tool contains an array datatype, it is not supported after importing the file under a non-optimized connection.
