Description

The Get Data level backup and restore functionality enables you to export and import all available connectors in Common Configurator from one IED to another.

Procedure

Proceed as follows to backup and restore the data:

1. Launch the Common Configurator application.
2. Navigate to the Get Data tab in the Common Configurator.
   A list of installed or available connectors are displayed.
   
3. Click on the Backup icon.
   A .json file containing all available connectors are downloaded.
4. Access another IED where you wish to import the connectors using Common Configurator.
5. Open the Common Configurator application.
6. Go to the Get Data tab.
   Installed or available connectors are listed.
   
7. Click on the Restore icon.
   A selection window appears.
8. Choose the .json file exported from the other IED.
9. Click Open to proceed.
   All imported connector configurations will be displayed on the Get Data page.
