Plug in the USB flash drive into your Windows PC.

Open
Create and format hard disk partitions
viaStart > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools

Check, if the USB flash drive has at least 1 GB unallocated space. If yes, proceed with Step 5. If not, remove other partitions/data in the USB flash drive.

To delete a partition, right click on the USB flash drive and click
Delete Volume…
. All files in the USB flash drive will be deleted after this session. -
To create a new volume on your USB flash drive, right click on the unallocated USB space and select
New Simple Volume…
.If the USB flash drive has more than 32 GB capacity, set
Simple volume size in MB
to less than 32768 MB (32 GB). -
Confirm your entries with
Next
until theFormat Partition
dialog. -
In the
File system
drop-down list, selectFAT32
. -
Enter
USBONBOARD
in theVolume Label
input field. -
Confirm your entries with
Next
andFinish
. -
Copy the onboard configuration file into the
USBONBOARD
USB partition.
