Connecting the System cables

• Please make sure to connect the cables only after the Smart Light and camera are mounted correctly.

• See diagram above for a full system connection description.

1. Connect the Smart Light comm cable

   
   
   

   • • Connect the M12-5Pin connector to the M12-5Pin connector of the Smart Light (marked as “communication” in black)

   
   
   

• Connect the D-Sub 9pin connector to the com1 connector in the system controller (IPC). BX-39A

1. Connect the Smart Light cables

   
   
   

   • • Connect the Smart Light connection splitter to the Smart Light M12-8 Pin connector (marked as Power & IO in orange) (1)

• Connect the power and External Trigger cable using the M8-4 Pin connector to the Smart Light connection splitter M8-4 Pin connector (2).

• Connect the open-end wires to a power supplier and an external sensor if needed, according to the following diagram:
  

  • • Connect the Smart Light – Camera cable’s M8-6 Pin screw-in connector to the Smart Light connection splitter’s M8-6 Pin connector (3)

• Connect the Smart Light – Camera cable’s M8-6 Pin Hirose connector to the camera M8-6 Pin Hirose connector. (4)

• Connect the Camera Ethernet cable (5) to the system controller camera Ethernet connector

  • It is crucial to use the Ethernet connector mentioned specifically

1. Connect mouse, keyboard and screen according to the system connection diagram above

2. Connect the system controller to the power supply (not delivered with the system).

• Only a certified electrician should connect the controller to the power supply unit
