There are 3 steps to creating a widget.
- Step 1 "General": Select the widget type
- Give the widget a name.
- Select whether the date settings are to be taken from the dashboard.
If the widget uses date settings different from the dashboard, provide the required information. - To apply the information, click "Next".
Step 2 is displayed.
- Step 2 "Parameters": Parameter selection
- Select the parameters to be visualized in the widget.
A parameter of the String type can be additionally selected, for example, to give production sections in the "Chart" detail view a descriptive name. Only the aggregation type "Last" is available for parameters of the String type. - If necessary, create a new KPI instance.

- Select the parameters to be visualized in the widget.
- Step 3 "Details": Additional settings
These settings depend on the widget type, for example, the calculation period, y-axis. - To create the widget, click "Create widget".
The widget is displayed on the dashboard.
To change the position and size of the widget, adjust the dashboard layout.

Switching between steps
When all the required details are available for the first time, you can switch to a step and make changes regardless of the order.
If you change the widget type, you need to provide the details again.
