The synchronization of clock slaves refers to the transfer of the date and time of day from the clock master of a bus segment to all clock slaves of this bus segment.
Use this instruction to synchronize all slave clocks present locally on the PLC or locally on a bus segment, independently of the set synchronization interval (the external interface of a CP or CM belongs to a different bus segment). Successful synchronization is only possible if called on a PLC whose real-time clock was assigned as the master clock for at least one bus segment.
