  • The internal data format for GSD after the import has changed. When upgrading from previous versions of Hardware Compiler, please delete the "gsd/hwc/import-cache" directory and reimport your GSD files using the "install-gsd" command.
  • Internal hardware objects of S7-1500 PLCs are no longer included in the Hardware Identifier lock file.
  • Improve formatting of the module list shown by the "get-supported-devices" command.
  • Hardware Compiler now requires .NET 8 to be installed
  • The error message text changed for non-unique or overlapping IO addresses, and the source of the faulty addresses (hardware declaration file or IO address lock file) are also indicated
  • Boolean property in the parameter list of GSD-based modules can now also be specified as numeric values (0, 1) as well. Before only false and true were supported.
  • OPC UA documentation was updated with user management settings.
  • GSD based module types are now displayed correctly in hw-diag tool.
  • Server modules are now visible in hw-diag tool.
