The following access protection levels are supported for the access protection configuration via Access Protection via Access Protection Levels:
- FullAccessWithSafety: The hardware configuration and the blocks can be read and changed by all users.
- FullAccess: The hardware configuration and the blocks can be read and changed by all users.
- HmiAccess: Only HMI access and access to diagnostics data possible. At this access level, you can neither load software blocks nor the hardware configuration into the PLC. In addition, the following is not possible: Changing the operating mode (RUN/STOP), updating the firmware.

ReadAccess: With this access level, read-only access to the hardware configuration and the blocks is possible without entering a password. In addition, HMI access and access to diagnostics data, changing the operating state (RUN/STOP), and setting the time of day is possible. You cannot download blocks or a hardware configuration into the PLC. Moreover, no test functions and firmware updates are possible.

NoAccess: Only identification data can be read via the DCP Utility tool. Neither read nor write access to the hardware configuration and the blocks is possible. HMI access is also not possible.
