To successfully generate a TIA Portal global library from your SIMATIC AX library, make sure you use compatible versions of AX2TIA and TIA Portal.
The following table shows the compatibilty of AX2TIA and TIA Portal versions
AX2TIA includes the version compatibility information in the handover library documents (*.impl), in the pragma {S7Lib_TIAXVersion}. During import, TIA Portal checks this compatibilty information. TIA Portal declines the import, if the compatibilty information in the handover library document is not valid.

- Here x is the minor version and y is the patch version.
- TIA Portal version: Handover library document version is usable from this TIA Portal version onwards.
- Handover library documents version: All generated versions less than or equal the mentioned version can be imported in the corresponding TIA Portal version.
- Importing libraries in TIA Portal for SINUMERIK ONE target is available only for select customers. This functionality will be available in upcoming updates of TIA Portal V19.
