Target option Comments
1500 Handover library documents are generated for SIMATIC S7-1500, SIMATIC S7-PLCSIM and SIMATIC S7-1500V.
swcpu Handover library documents are generated for SIMATIC S7-1500 Software Controller.
sinu Handover library documents are generated for SINUMERIK ONE and Create MyVirtual Machine (CMVM).

Note

  • If the option -t is not specified, the handover library documents are generated for 1500, plcsim and vplc targets.

  • Choose either the 1500 or swcpu or sinu target for generating handover library documents.

Remarks:

  • ax2tia can find dependent STC libraries automatically:
  • if the dependent libraries are located in the same folder as the leading library or
  • if the leading library is built in an APAX project and the dependent libraries are provided as an APAX package
  • otherwise the location of the dependent library can be specified using the option --lib

Warning

ax2tia deletes the whole output folder before starting the convert.

Note that any file in the output folder will be lost without warning.
