Direct PC-to-SIEMENS Inspekto VIS connection

To set up SIEMENS Inspekto VIS for a direct PC-to-SIEMENS Inspekto VIS connection, perform the following steps:

1. Load the SIEMENS Inspekto VIS while connected to a dedicated keyboard, mouse, and screen.

2. Connect the Ethernet cable to PC’s Ethernet connection and the Ethernet connection marked “LAN” in the SIEMENS Inspekto VIS Controller.

3. Set the PC network configuration to match the IP address entered in the SIEMENS Inspekto VIS “Network” settings (item #5 below).

   
   
   

4. Open the system settings by clicking the
   button in the left bar menu and clicking “Network”.

5. Scroll down to the “Ethernet” section and:

   1. Make sure the toggle switch is set to on (colored in blue).

   2. Under “IPv4 Settings”, select “Use the following IP address:”

   3. Fill in the required IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.

   4. Click “Submit”.

      
      
      

6. Open the Chrome browser on the PC and type the SIEMENS Inspekto VIS IP address as in item #3 above, adding “:3000”.

After you click the “Enter” key, the browser will connect to SIEMENS Inspekto VIS as shown:

If you experience issues connecting to the remote UI, verify that the above ports are open.
