The "Target Overview" displays the available targets and their pipelines. Targets refer to Embedding applications on Industrial Edge devices, and the page refreshes every 20 seconds.
Connection to the IEM
If the AI Asset Manager is not connected to the IEM, an empty status will be shown. Please note that the "Target Overview" will not display any information without a connection to the IEM. If the IEM is connected but no AI Asset Manager-compatible targets are available, an empty state will be shown.
To connect to the IEM, click the "Log in to IEM" button ①:

Detailed information about targets
After connecting to the IEM, you can view the available compatible targets. A target is considered compatible if it meets all the device rules defined in the app configuration file. The overview includes detailed information about the targets, such as deployed pipeline packages (if any).
The targets are categorized in this page based on their connection status and interaction with AI Asset Manager and AI Inference Server.
Direct Connection
Targets in this group are actively used with the AI Asset Manager and have an upgraded direct connection to the AI Inference Server version 2.0.0 or above.
Connection via IEM
This category includes any version of the AI Inference Server below 2.0.0. These versions are supported but do not offer the full range of features available in version 2.0.0 or above.
Not Connected
Targets not in active use with the AI Asset Manager fall into this category. If you want to use these pipelines you should upgrade the connection by clicking to "Upgrade target connection", or by clicking on bulk button "Upgrade all".
The pipelines in the lists are grouped by pipeline package ID.
The filter area in the "Target Overview" page provides a way to filter pipelines on different targets based on their name, version, creation time, or deployment status. When you modify the filter, the application searches for matching pipelines in each available device.

"Disconnect direct connection" ⑫ is displayed only if the connection has been updated.
Note:
If a warning icon appears next to a pipeline, it means the pipeline includes steps that use Python 3.8 or earlier. Since this version will be deprecated, we recommend using newer Python versions in the packages.
Note:
Details on executing pipeline actions are provided in the Pipeline actions from the Target Overview.
Details on upgrading connections are provided in the Connection upgrade section.
