The navigation bar of AI Asset Manager is an important area where several navigation and function buttons can be found. At the top, you can use the double chevron button ① to expand or collapse the menu, which is collapsed by default.
Below this, when the menu is expanded, the name and role of the logged-in IED user are displayed.
The menu continues with three additional buttons. Clicking on these buttons will navigate you to the three main pages of the application:
Package Overview
Workspace Area
Target Overview
Alert Configuration
There are three additional buttons in the lower area:
The Settings button opens the settings menu.
The IEM login button opens the IEM connection modal. It also indicates the current connection status (connected or disconnected).
The About & Legal information button takes you to information about the application, licenses and analytics data.

Settings
The "Settings" button ⑥ allows the language and theme (light or dark) to be set.

IEM connection
The "IEM connected/not connected" button opens the IEM login form. The login process is detailed in the chapter titled Connect to IEM.
About & Legal information
The "About & Legal information" ⑧ contains four tabs: Imprint, AI Asset Manager licenses, Function Manual licenses, and Analytics data.
Imprint tab
The "Imprint" tab provides information about the application and its current version.

AI Asset Manager licenses tab
The "AI Asset Manager licenses" tab provides information about the open-source and third-party software used in the AI Asset Manager.
Function Manual licenses tab
The license information relating to the Siemens DLM HTML5 Viewer is listed on the "Function Manual licenses" tab.
Analytics data tab
The "Analytics data" tab provides information about Siemens software analytics. For further details, refer to the Note on Siemens Software Analytics section.
In this tab, you can enable or disable the Analytics Data Collection by toggling the switch. When the switch is toggled, a modal will appear.
By clicking on the "Agree" button, you consent to the collection of data related to product and service usage. You can revoke this consent at any time by selecting the "Decline" option.
Note: This consent is stored in the local storage. If you delete the local storage or switch browsers, the modal will appear again, and you will need to re-enable data collection.
