Installing AI Inference Server

Perform the following steps:

1. Add the AI Inference Server to the "Catalog" of your IEM:

   • Copy the AI Inference Server directly from the IE Hub to your IEM instance.

   • Or, if you have the AI Inference Server as an app file, import it to your IEM using the "Import Application" button in the "Catalog" screen in the Management UI of your IEM.

2. Install AI Inference Server on Edge devices in the "Catalog" of the IEM.

3. Specify the configuration files during the installation and, if necessary, add the generated certificate file.

   Set all the configuration files to "activated" state as the figure below depicts and click "Next".

   

4. Start the AI Inference Server.

The app configuration is available in the SIEMENS Industrial Edge catalog. You can find general installation instructions in the Industrial Edge Management operating manual

under 4.3 "Installing an app from the catalog", which explains the adjustment procedure for the app configuration.
