Data protection
Siemens observes the principles of data privacy, in particular the principle of data minimization (privacy by design). For this product, this means:
The product does not process/store any personal data, only technical function data (e.g. time stamps, IP addresses of the connected production machines) and collected process data according to user settings.
The log files of the product might include extracts of the input data coming from the shop floor.
If the user links this data with other data (e.g. shift plans) or stores personal data on the same medium (e.g. hard disk) and thus establishes a personal reference, the user must ensure compliance with the data protection regulations.
