The Industrial Edge Vision Connector provides connectivity to selected industrial cameras and real-time streaming protocol (RTSP) cameras on the Industrial Edge ecosystem. The list of tested and supported industrial cameras is provided in chapter Vision Connector Specification at category "Compatibility". The VCA publishes data to other applications via the ZeroMQ integrated in the Vision Connector.
The Vision Connector supports connecting to multiple cameras simultaneously. It provides one-to-many data streaming for downstream Edge applications, thus opening numerous possibilities for image and video analysis. Integration with the ZeroMQ allows other applications to receive images from multiple cameras simultaneously.
The user interface provides flexible configuration options and a livestream view of each camera, allowing the user to change camera-specific parameters, while observing the effects of each change.
