Once the AI Model Manager is set up, and the user is logged into the IEM, AI Model Manager is able to receive information and data from the Industrial Edge Management System about Industrial Edge Devices that are connected to it.
The status of the devices is one of the information. This is crucial for the deployment process, as AI Model Manager cannot deploy to devices which are offline, even if all the other requirements are fulfilled.
