In case the Industrial Edge Management shows the devices as online but AI Model Manager shows them as offline, the problem is most likely connected to the NTP server settings of both the IEM and the Industrial Edge Device.
It is crucial for the application to work properly, that the Network Time Protocol (NTP) Server has the correct time settings on the Edge device which has AI Model Manager installed as well as the IEM which the device is connected to. The status of NTP synchronization can be checked in the Edge device’s UI in the Statistics menu. In case the NTP settings need to be modified, please refer to the relevant sections of the Industrial Edge Management Operation and Industrial Edge Device Operation manuals.
It can also happen that the NTP server is configured and running correctly on the IEM, but it is not working on the IED. Observe:
In this case the same misalignment can be observed, and the NTP server must be fixed on the IED for the issue to be resolved.
How to check if the NTP server is running correctly:
