Prerequisites
You have installed a SFTP or FTP server and created an account for AI Model Deployer. You can use this account to exchange files with TM NPU.
Set STP/FTP configuration
For security reasons, Siemens highly recommends that you either use a secure connection (SFTP) for server communication with AI Model Deployer, or ensure that the communication cannot be accessed from the outside. For FTP communication in an environment with the TM NPU, make sure that this takes place in an access-protected area of your system (see TM NPU user manual). For AI Model Deployer and TM NPU, you can access the same SFTP/FTP server or folders shared by different SFTP/FTP servers using the same or different configurations.
AI Model Deployer works as SFTP/FTP client. To enable SFTP/FTP file operations, you need to prepare a SFTP/FTP server and configure the SFTP/FTP server first.
Select SFTP or FTP server for AI Model Deployer using the switch element.
Configure IP address and port number of SFTP/FTP server.
Configure user name and password of the account created for AI Model Deployer at SFTP/FTP server side.
Click "Connect" to connect the configured SFTP/FTP server.

Ensure there are adequate safeguards for protecting the AI Model Deployer's accounts to prevent unauthorized access to FTP server. To do this, use secure passwords and other measures, such as the use of security policies, should be applied as needed.
Manipulate files on SFTP/FTP server
Once AI Model Deployer connected to SFTP/FTP server, you can manipulate the files on SFTP/FTP server or upload files to SFTP/FTP server.
