Q: How can I set the sub folders for the images and metadata pushed to enterprise-level server?
A: Vision Data Collector (VDC) supports user to configure the “Remote path” of CustomMDF type data consumer so that CustomMDF can store data into different bucket. If this field is configured, Vision Data Collector will update this configuration into the “blob_name” parameter of CustomMDF interface that is used for accepting the captured data. For simplifying the configuration process, you can use the built-in predefined fields: ied, vdc, date, id, name. These fields will be replaced with 'Industrial Edge Device name', 'vdc', 'the date you start push process in the format of YYYY/MM/DD', 'collection id', 'collection name'. An example is 'vdc/ied/id/name/date'. The Following figure shows an example of CustomMDF configuration as a data consumer.
For other enterprise level server e.g. FTP/SFTP server, you could set the folder to store the whole image, but Vision Data Collector does not support sub folders for image and metadata storage right now.
